F150 2.7 Oil Change (2015+)

The EcoBoost Ford F150 2.7 oil change is a simple procedure that can be easily done by anyone. With a unconventional plastic oil drain plug that you can remove by hand and a cartridge style oil filter, the oil change is different by no harder than any other. The cartridge style oil filter minimizes any mess from oil spilling out of the oil filter while the plastic oil drain plug is much easier to remove than typical style however the larger bore causes the oil to push out further and with more force than other drain plugs.
