3.0 Powerstroke Fuel Filter Change (2017-2021)

A 3.0 Powerstroke fuel filter change is one of the most important things to do when maintaining your truck. In a diesel, a dirty fuel filter is one of the most common causes of low power or worse engine issues. This guide is specific to 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, and 2021 model year trucks. On these trucks, there is an inline fuel filter mounted on top of the engine and a fuel water separator mounted at the back of the truck by the fuel tank.
